Youth - Sunday School

Sunday School classes meet from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. every Sunday from September to May. We have classes for all ages. Our birth to Kindergarten classes meet in the basement for opening songs and prayer. Our first grade through sixth grade classes meet in the Sanctuary at 9:00 a.m. for a brief opening and then go to their separate classrooms.

We use Firelight Bible Learning Curriculum, an exciting curriculum that teaches age-old stories in brand-new formats. The program uses experiences and activities to get learners moving—living what is taught. It’s “Sunday Cool.”

Each year we kick off the start of Sunday School with Rally Day, which is the first Sunday following Labor Day weekend. This is a Intergenerational event held in the Parish Hall for everyone. Other Intergenerational Sunday School events during the year include Reformation Sunday and the first Sunday of each month during the summer. We have an annual Christmas program in December. In May we finish up Recognition Sunday, when we recognize the Sunday School staff, students, and all graduates (high school, college, etc.).

There are always opportunities to get involved with our Sunday School program. If you would like more information or would like to help with our Sunday School education, contact us and one of our Pastors or the Sunday School Superintendent will get you in touch with you.
