Ministries - Outreach

"Go in peace. Serve the Lord." We say these words at the end of every worship service. And we take them seriously.

We are a caring congregation with a commitment to the larger community. Outreach has always been a priority at Reformation. Our resources—money, goods, time, and talents—go to serve the Lord in a variety of ministries throughout Wichita and literally around the world. Some of the ways Reformation serves the local and extended communities include:

• Preparing and serving meals for the homeless
• Providing ongoing support to Oaks Indian Mission
• Providing labor and contributions for Habitat for Humanity
• Serving as a Red Cross disaster relief site
• Sponsoring blood drives
• Raising money to feed the hungry through Crop Walk
• Foreign missionary support
• Direct support of numerous other ministries
• Indirect support of numerous ministries through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
