February 28, 2005	Read John 3: 16-21
“And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light…” (v. 19)
EMBRACE THE LIGHT We are not perfect. It is only when God puts his cloak of light on us that we are perfect. It is this that separates human beings into two groups. One group is the people who don’t believe that God sent Jesus to save us from our sins. These people dwell in the darkness, in evil. They have rejected the salvation promised by Christ. The second group is the Christians --- no matter if you’re Lutheran, Catholic, Methodist, etc. We receive the Truth and God into our lives. Through our baptism, the Light has been given to us for all eternity. We have the promise God made: Once you welcome the Light, you are forever saved.   Dear God, please lead the people who have not accepted you to receive your Light, for they do not know your promise of salvation. Please also bless and keep those who have stepped into your Light. Aaron Watkins 10th grade student
