Isaiah 42: 1-9

Go, and Serve the Lord!

"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations."

-Isaiah 42:1

In a society that has increasingly become self-serving, it is easy to forget that we are servants; servants of the Lord. We should follow in Jesus example as God's servants to the world.

Fortunately for us, we are not required to perform great miracles. A simple gesture of love will do, like a helping hand, or a smile. In our service, we can become a light onto the world.
