Stars from Heaven
Stars, stars shed your heavenly light
So we can read Bible stories through the night.
Though the stars need not shine
because we live the stories by heart and mind.
The people sin
The sinning of sins.
We all really do:
Everyone tries to get what is right for him.
Still God lets us know special people
and lets us lead special lives.
Stars, stars shed your heavenly light
So we can know your wonderful stories of light.
Prayer: Dear
God, you've led us for centuries and forgiven our sins. And you've
taught us if we fight no one will ever win. So teach us to live
in peace and love. Amen.
