Just as you may have struggled to find words in this
Lenten word search, Jesus struggled to find his disciples. And
just as some words were more obvious than others, some disciples
were more likely to follow Jesus, meeting His expectations to
give love and service.
As with the first 12 disciples, Jesus finds us, offers
his hand and grace, and then he expects us to follow and serve.
It is easy to accept his gifts, but sometimes it
is difficult to meet his expectations.
Prayer: Dear
God, help us to accept your gracious gifts and then use them in
honor and service to you. Amen.
