February 23, 1997. Today's Bible verse is John 14: 1-12
Who is God?
Why do we believe in God? Ask twenty different people,
and you could get almost that many answers. Many people were
taught to believe when they were young. Others learned later.
Some just feel that there is someone greater over us, but how
many of us have seen God in person or form?
How do we know God is with us? Two thousand years
is a long time to go without direct contact. Simply the only
way we can know God is through faith. Faith is hard to come by
for some, but natural as water for others. Each of us has to
work towards our personal faith by our own ways, and different
difficulties.
Prayer: These
different difficulties and reasons for our faith guide each of
us in personal guest for God. Each of us has to find our way,
but we all have the chance. Make the best of it. Amen.
